Editing Uploaded Content in Sessionboard

How to edit and leave comments on uploaded content

Please reach out to support@sessionboard.com to enable this feature.

Collecting and reviewing content can be time-consuming. Sessionboard has released a feature that allows admins to review, edit, and send comments to speakers about their uploaded session content. Edits and comments left on the content are saved as new versions of the file, which allows speakers to quickly compare their original submission to the latest version.

Who can view and edit the uploaded content?

Admins and users with access to Content can edit docx. files that are uploaded to Sessionboard through Content Upload

Once content is uploaded, admins may view the files through the content module, and per session via the session profile

DOCX files may be edited and receive comments. JPG and PDFs may be viewed and receive comments, but cannot be edited in the platform.

Viewing Content via the Content Module

As an admin with content viewing capabilities, click on the file name to view, edit, and comment.

Viewing Content via the Session Profile

As an admin, go to the Sessions module and find the session with uploaded content you want to review.

CSM Tip: Use Show/Hide Fields and add Content to your Sessions Dashboard. Once content has been added to your view, add a filter to show sessions with uploaded content only.

Making Edits and Adding Comments

Once content has been uploaded to a session through content upload, Admins can view the document, edit the uploaded file, and send comments back to the speaker. As edits are made and saved, the updated file is saved as a new version. This helps both the speaker and admin compare versions.
