What does the “p” in the Description/Biography text box mean?
When filling out a session description or contact biography within the Session Submission Form, Group Intake Form, or a Portal Form, you may notice a small “p” displayed in the lower left-hand corner of the text box.
What does the “p” mean?
The “p” stands for paragraph. It is a standard element in rich text editors used to indicate the current formatting or structure of your text.
Sessionboard uses a rich text editor to allow users to format their content (e.g., bold, italics, lists, links). The “p” simply reflects that the text being entered is currently within a <p> (paragraph) tag—this is part of the editor’s underlying HTML formatting.
Do I need to do anything with it?
No action is needed. The “p” is informational only and does not impact how your data is submitted or displayed. It will not appear on the front end of your agenda or speaker listings.
Can the “p” be removed from my form?
No, this indicator is a built-in feature of the rich text editor used in Sessionboard forms and cannot be removed. It is not visible to attendees or end users and is purely for formatting awareness within the editor.
