00:00: Welcome to session board in this video, we will walk through how to enable file 00:04: collection through sessions. Making it easy for your team to review and share files with 00:08: external teens, like a v on event day. 00:12: Before collecting files from your speakers, you'll need to enable file collection. 00:17: To do this, go to the sessions module, open the settings page and 00:21: select the file subtab. 00:24: Toggle, the icon under enable file upload to allow session files 00:28: to be submitted through the portal. This will reveal additional settings where 00:32: you can set a due date, specify accepted file types and limit. 00:36: The number of file speakers can upload per session. 00:40: You can also set a file size limit with a maximum of 1.95 gigabytes 00:44: per file. Lastly, enable comments to allow speakers to 00:48: communicate directly with event organizers. 00:52: To guide your speakers on how to upload files to their session. 00:55: We recommend creating a session tasks within the portals module. 01:00: Use the task name to request session, file, submissions and include upload 01:04: instructions in the task description. 01:07: These instructions are available in our knowledge base and can be copied into the task 01:11: description field added as a link in the task, Link Field or both. 01:17: Speakers can upload files by selecting their session in the sessions widget and 01:21: navigating to the files tab in the panel, on the right side of the screen. 01:26: When files are uploaded, they can be accessed through the files module. 01:31: Files can also be accessed through a session by navigating to the files page. 01:36: Speakers can leave comments on each file, they submit to view them, click 01:40: comments, beneath the file, to expand the section. 01:43: Please note that email notifications are not sent when comments are added by 01:48: either the event organizer or the speakers. 01:50: To communicate to speakers that they have a new comment, we recommend sending them an 01:55: email. 01:56: Click history to view, previous versions of the submitted file. 02:01: To easily track, which sessions have files, expose the files field within 02:05: the sessions module by clicking the show hide Fields button. 02:09: In the pop-up, search for the files field, check the box next to it and click 02:13: update view to add it to your table View. 02:17: Do not forget to click the save button on the left side to save the changes you have made. 02:22: There are two ways to bolt. Download the latest version of each file received, The 02:27: first is through the sessions module, check the box in the header row to 02:31: select all sessions on the page.
