00:00: Welcome to session board in this short video. 00:02: We'll show you how to create an assign a form to a portal. 00:06: Portal forms are an efficient way to collect a number of detailed information. 00:09: All in one place, from contacts groups, or sessions using various 00:14: field types, such as file uploads, and dropdowns. 00:18: To begin navigate to the portals module, and select forms of the top 00:22: of your page. 00:24: To create a new form, select the button create form. 00:29: There are three types of forms, you can create First contacts. 00:34: Collect information specific to each event, contact such as headshots 00:38: and bios for the event website. Second groups, request 00:42: sponsor or exhibitor groups to provide their logo in any Booth needs for the 00:46: event day. Select the type of form you would like to create and 00:50: continue building your form by clicking the button, save and build forum. 00:54: Third sessions ask speakers to share any AV requirements for each 00:59: session they are associated with. 01:02: In the pop-up, enter an internal name for your team and a public-facing title 01:06: that will appear to contacts in the portal. 01:09: Add a section title, that will be visible at the top of the open forum. 01:13: Additional instructions that the contact should keep in mind is their filling 01:17: out the form can be added to the description and instructions text box. 01:22: Add standard fields to your form or create custom ones using the add 01:26: question button to collect information from contacts and groups. 01:30: If you are using a native integration such as grip or swoogo, and would like the details, 01:34: you are collecting to be synced to the third party site. 01:37: We recommend using standard Fields whenever possible. 01:41: Fields can be added by selecting the checkbox to the left of the field, name, or by 01:45: clicking the button, create new field in the bottom right-hand corner. 01:50: The toggle icon to the right of a field indicates if it is required or not. 01:56: Click the ellipses icon to the right of a field to reveal additional actions. 02:01: Customized question allows you to add a field label and help text to your fields. 02:06: Use question rules enables you to apply conditional Logics? So that questions 02:10: appear based on responses to previous questions. 02:14: Edit Fields. Lets you modify the field description in any additional settings 02:18: based on the field type, for example, adding or removing options for 02:22: a drop-down field. Finally, remove from form removes. 02:25: The field from the form. Without deleting it, allowing it to be used again in the future. 02:31: On the final page, enable send confirmation email to have an 02:35: email said to the contact with a PDF of their form responses attached. 02:39: You can customize the message body using the provided text box. 02:45: After creating your form, be sure to assign it to the appropriate portal, so your 02:49: contacts can view and complete it. To do this, click portals at 02:53: the top of the page, to return to the portal home. 02:57: Select the ellipses to the right of the portal, the form should be assigned to and 03:01: select edit tasks from the action list. 03:04: Navigate to the collect form. Click the pencil icon in the actions column. 03:33: If you're assigning a session form, you can use the actions pop-up to apply a filter. 03:38: Only sessions that match.
