Can sessions that are not accepted be hidden from a user’s portal?

When viewing a contact’s profile in Sessionboard as an event organizer or if the contact is viewing the event portal, you will see every session that person is linked to. This includes sessions that are accepted, declined, or pending.

For example:

  • If a speaker submits two sessions, and one is accepted while the other is declined, both sessions will appear on their profile and in their portal.

Will this affect the attendee-facing agenda?

No. The agenda your attendees see will only display accepted sessions.

What if I only want accepted sessions to appear in a contact’s profile/portal?

The only way to remove unaccepted sessions from a contact’s profile is to:

  1. Remove the speaker from the unaccepted session(s), or

  2. Delete the session(s) entirely.

⚠️ Important: We generally do not recommend either option, as it removes the historical record of the session and its association with the contact. Keeping this information can be valuable if you or the contact wish to reference past submissions in the future.
